We first caught wind of Sicilian beatmaker Stoner in the Spring 0f 2017 —  the precision production on  his collaborative effort with Dutch studiosmith Paradigitz Odious” having piqued our collective interest.

Fast forward to the present day, the Italian producer’s stock steadily rising in the months since we first laid our ears on the aforementioned promo that had hit our inbox almost a year and a half to the day.

Signing a quartet of original studio productions issued as part of the 17th volume of Critical Music‘s lauded Binary series of EPs, Stoner showcases his expanding production palette dropping arguably his most dynamic assemblage of music to date.  Crunchy roller “Sweet Home” opens with an infectious Classic Soul vocal sample and uplifting keys prior to giving way to a series of sharp bass stabs, punchy drum hits, and twisted synth elements.
