Amassing an impressive cache of published musical work, American beatsinger Mike Richards has spent the better part of the past 12 years refining his lush and soulful approach to composing Drum & Bass records.

Having released music on highly respected imprints InnergroundCreative SourceFokuz, and V Recordings, the man who would adopt the production guise Random Movement setup his very own Flight Pattern recording label in 2016.  Providing much needed exposure to burgeoning beatmakers who shared Random Movement‘s penchant for crafting audibly pleasurable Liquid soundscapes, Flight Pattern has established itself as a top up-and-coming outlet for capable studio savants from both sides of the pond to distribute their respective work.

Designated as the 14th catalog issuance in Flight Pattern‘s steadily growing catalog, the sublimely produced Life is Permanent EP is a tasty four track offering courtesy of none other than the label headman himself.  Incorporating an infectious sampled piano arrangement, the extended player’s title track rolls fluidly from end-to-end.  Warm humming basslines, crisp drum breaks, and incandescent synth work round out what can only be described as a palpably splendid vibe.
