With over a quarter century worth of music production under his belt, an unparalleled back catalog highlighted by issuances on seminal imprints ReinforcedMetalheadzHospital Records, and Moving Shadow, and the continued acclaim garnered by his own Paradox Music label, Jungle / Drum & Bass demigod Dev Pandya needs little introduction.

One of Electronic Music’s true pioneers and a musical visionary in his own right, Pandya –whom has adopted the beatmaking pseudonym Paradox — has been resolute in pushing forth the intricately drum crafted sonic narrative that has become his hallmark.

Originally released in 2009 on now defunct D&B fixture Renegade Hardware, Toronto’s own resident living production legend Gremlinz dropped memorable drum assault “Frankie Gunns” on compilation extended player offering the Deadpan EP.  Reissued on Paradox‘s self-titled imprint, the label boss gets in on the fun delivering an absolute killer remix of the Drumfunk treasure.

Stealthy and calculated, Paradox‘s reinterpretation of “Frankie Gunns” is nothing short of  spectacular — impactful basslines, earth shattering subs, and unrivalled drum break sequencing are showcased throughout, brilliantly reworking the original incarnation’s audio textures into something new all together.
